If you like the idea of a sailing holiday this summer, but don’t want the hassle of travelling abroad, how about booking to stay with us on a catamaran in the UK.
Starting in the Portsmouth Harbour, a weekend is enough to sail the length of the Solent and over the Isle of Wight for the night. You could enjoy swimming off the back whilst at anchor, a barbeque on the beach, go ashore to see the coloured sands of Allum Bay or maybe try out the outdoor activities pool in Lymington.
Add a couple of days and you could explore the Jurassic Coast sailing west to Weymouth or for the more adventurous you could head south across the English Channel to Cherbourg or Alderney.
Allowing a week means your less dependent on the weather and there is time to properly explore the destinations you choose, wherever they are. Our usual limits would be west to Cornwall or as far as the Isles of Scilly, East to the Thames or Holland, South to the Channel Islands or Normandy.
